Matt Cassel Injury Update as of 8/30/2009, 8:42PM CST

Sources are reporting that Kansas City starting Quarterback Matt Cassel suffered a MCL (Medial collateral ligament) sprain in Saturday nights loss to the Seahawks.  Even through it is being speculated as only a sprain, Cassel could miss up to 1 month with the injury.

The only official word out of the Chiefs is that Cassel's X-ray that was taken during the game was negative.  If Cassel is out, it is believed that Brodie Croyle will replace Cassel as the starter.
